Welcome back to another installment of Padilla Designs blog series “Featured Projects” . This blog series focuses on showcasing completed projects of Padilla artwork after they are installed.

These clients came to Padilla Designs with a project consisting of six single swing utility access gates one basement security gate and a stable and private fence line. They were asking for a simple, organic and timeless design that would not interfere with their narrow driveway.

We went with a woven copper design for privacy and space, fabricating everything from copper sheet metal woven between round copper pipe. All access gates have an internal stainless steel hinge system for durability and support. The copper woven fencing and gates will all be finished with a natural living bronze patina wash. No sealer was applied so the living patina finish would darken and get richer with time.
