One of Padilla Designs’ commonly used mottos is “work hard, play hard“, and we all firmly believe that you can’t have one without the other.

Just as it’s important to work hard towards your goals and dreams, its equally important to stop and “smell the flowers”. Our days off give us time to unwind from the intensity of work in the studio and out in the field, and allows us to enjoy spending time with loved ones and enjoy the beauty of our Maui home.

Whether it be taking our family boat out for a spin with a few welcome guests, or hiking through some of the islands’ beautiful valleys and ridges, from the top of Haleakalā to the big blue Pacific Ocean, we take our days off very seriously – fun intended! We have what might be called “serious fun” – making the most of each moment.

Padilla Designs believes in soaking up the sunshine and laughing as much as possible. If you ever get the chance to hang out with this crew of wacky Maui locals, it’s sure to be a great time that you will never forget.
