Case Study – International Market Place
HIGH PROFILE DEVELOPMENT IN THE HEART OF WAIKIKI, 2014-2016
The master artisans at Padilla Designs literally rose to the challenge of creating the iconic Lamakū Torch Tower, an extraordinary fire sculpture that sits atop the newly renovated International Market Place on Kalakaua Avenue. Originally opened in 1956, this historic gathering place underwent a complete renovation and re-opened in late 2016. In addition to the tower, Padilla Designs’ custom torches and lighting fixtures are also featured throughout this special place in the heart of Waikiki.

A REFRESH OF THE WHALERS VILLAGE RETAIL MALL IN KAANAPALI, MAUI

Case Study – Ho‘olei at the Grand Wailea
LUXURY CONDO DEVELOPMENT IN WAILEA, MAUI, 2004-2005
With the design of this new luxury condo development owned by Grand Wailea came requests for detailed features, gates, signage, and custom touches throughout the property. Padilla Designs worked with the contractor to create Ho‘olei’s breathtaking custom entrance gates, water jet brass logo signage, and custom metal “bamboo” pool railings, giving the property a unique and artistic experience for all who live there and visit.
